Peggy Wen: Artist in Residency
Peggy Wen is a painter and jewelry maker originally from Brooklyn, New York. Trained by renowned New York-based Japanese jewelry designer, Ayaka Nishi, Wen draws inspiration for her jewelry from her paintings. She incorporates dried paint chips from her canvases, blends them with crystals and beads and wire-wraps them to create beautiful, wearable works of art. Wen is currently pursuing a master of fine arts degree at the University of Montana.
